Back grounds ,terrean are necessery and doing it quickly and easly drive me nuts.
Stuff in Poser is DAZs Cyclorama and RDNAs microcosm.
Cyclorama looks good, is easy but too few scenes IMHO.
Microcosms is easy, looks good for back ground and more importantly a MUST IMHO for foregrounds. Rid yourself of that pesky ball room floor flat look. But doesn't work for mid ground that well and is a pain adding vegetation.
Other Software.
Terregean; it's free and easy, there are a lot of freebies for it. It doesn't do vegetation beyond a texture map. There is Terrigean coming out that does support vegation. I haven't been able to figure out T2.
Bryce - it's cheep(even cheeper for DAZ platitum club members) for serious software and easy to use (though laid out oddly) Looks nice, will scatter things randomly about for you and has a lot of freebees.
VUE - very serious and pricey stuff. You can get a learning copy for free.
I my opinion Terregean and Microcosms are a must for even the casual Poser user. For those with the coin there are Bryce and Vue. |
