Setting the Record Straight

I feel I need to defend my actions because I feel that it is not fair that I am being called a “scam” and other mean things. There is no scam. I wouldn’t be in this for over a decade if I was just trying to find excuses “to make money”. I have a real job. And no way I can ever quit it doing this stuff. I do this because I AM passionate about it. It surely isn’t money driven….lol. And to be honest, it is a fetish. I am a dominatrix and vore fits perfectly into my sex life. ^_^

Software and websites cost money to buy and host sites on. I seriously wasn’t making it up when Arvixe charged us over $1000 a year for a VPSPro Class Server to keep TheVoreTube up and running. Go see for yourself. Their prices never change. Video content file sizes are HUGE so more space had to be purchased as well. And that cost didn’t even include that crappy YouTube clone clunky software that it ran on.

Get real people! It costs money!

Yes, some artists out there survive because they used free services like DeviantArt. We did not. We hosted our own websites, maintained and ran them. It costs money to do that. Unfortunately, that was a BAD decision on MY part. I didn’t realize just how much time, money and energy we had to put into hosting our own websites, especially I project managed Voreville and all the sister sites, trying to make a cool vore brand when I should have just used DeviantArt to kill ALL those extra costs.

Yes, I screwed up royally… but that was my ambition to make things better for us. How that can be twisted into thinking I was scamming people is ridiculous. The facts are the facts. I did things differently so that makes me a bad person?

I also depended on hiring special artists. Animators are NOT cheap and I have said that many times like a broken record. Again, another BAD decision on my part. Yes, I own it all. I meticulously handpicked artists that only use the software that I was familiar with. Now I put myself in a hole. After a decade, our main software is still around, but 3D Studio vore artists are difficult to find, cheap.

So we are here in 2021. I DO have a new plan. I am not going to hire artists anymore to reduce my losses. I will start doing it myself. No overhead, no worries anymore. No time constraints and I will slowly learn. YouTube and Google have been amazing free tools. Now, I can concentrate on spending support money on supporting the Daz community with the amazing figures and clothes being made every day!

So yet another fork in the road, but I will keep on truckin…
